This year's Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted by Azerbaijan, a country that is now preparing to welcome artists from most of the European countries. However, behind the scenes there are other things going on.
Kamal Ismayilov, a citizen of Azerbaijan that has written a master thesis about peace and democracy, will during his lecture talk about the country of Azerbaijan and how the political system works as well as about the relationship the country has to Armenia. He will also discuss Azerbaijan's international relations and what hosting Eurovision Song Contest means for the country.
This lecture will be held in English in Hörsal Dragonen, Sprängkullsgatan 19, Thursday 10th of May.
