The Society of International Affairs invites you all to a lecture with Cecilia Malmström!
EU Commissioner, Cecilia Malmström, will tell us about the content of the European Asylum and Refugee Policy, which will soon be in place. She will also talk about the challenges and opportunities of today and present her vision of a more open Europe.
Cecilia Malmström is currently serving as EU Commissioner for Home Affairs with responsibility for issues such as the fight against organized crime and corruption, and migration. One of her priorities is the future possibility of joint politics for asylum and migration within the EU. Cecilia Malmström is a former Minister of European Affairs in Sweden (for the Liberal People’s Party) and before that she was a representative in the European Parliament (1999-2006). She holds a PhD in political science from Gothenburg University.
The lecture will be held in English, and please note that it starts exactly at 16:30!
We will start letting in the audience at 15:45, please be on time in order to prevent a long queue!

Any unregistered visitors will be let in right before the lecture starts, but only as far as space allows!
Entrance fee is 20 SEK, free for members of the Society of International Affairs (UF).
Membership is only 50 SEK for one year, and can be paid at the entrance.
