EU and the Migration
The situation and conditions for migrants throughout the EU will be discussed. How are migrants being treated at the border and within EU? What role does economics play? Does EU have to change? If so, how and at what cost?
Björn Hedlund is a writer, journalist and consultant. He holds a master degree in Social anthropology. Hedlunds book "Fortets Murar" reveals the systematic violence involved in border controlling and in the exploitation of migrants throughout Europe.
Emma Henriksson is since the election 2006 a member of the parliament for Kristdemokraterna. The issues she is working hardest for concerns family and migration. In migration politics she especially focuses on strengthening the child perspective throughout the migration process.
