Why Do Israelis Vote the Way They Do? An Analysis of the 2013

Lecture in English with Isabell Schierenbeck (GU), presented by the Society of International Affairs Gothenburg, on Tuesday 26th February!

Isabell Schierenbeck is an associate professor in political science, and a researcher and lecturer at the School of Global Studies at the University of Gothenburg. She is also a regular commentator on issues like Israeli politics and Middle East policy on Swedish national Television (SVT) and Swedish Radio (SR)
Isabell will talk about the Israeli elections, analyzed through internal political divisions and the changing regional political conditions. How and why are Israelis voting the way they do, and to what extent are the Israeli election results influenced by the Arab Spring and the situation in Syria and Egypt?

Entrance fee 20 kr, free for members of the Society of International Affairs.
Membership is 50 kr for one year and can be paid at the entrance.
