Sinnet Förfestar

On Saturday 19th Feb, Sinnet will be hosting another mellow förfest with the very special Sumie Nagano and Punjab & The Asp.

Sumie Nagano has been off around Europe for much of 2010, making waves in Switzerland and Germany with her unique blend of moody pop and offbeat folk styles. For this show, she will be joined by her string section: Emma Strååt on violin and Kajsa Persson on cello.

Frida Thurfjell and Michael Mennell present ...their new project, Punjab & The Asp. Taking a break from their band, Western, to write music for Patrik Migas' upcoming Raderna Emellan (premiering March 25th at GöteborgsOperan), Frida and Michael discovered that working as a duo, combining electronic and acoustic instruments, exploring loops and layered harmonies has led to an eclectic new landscape of sound.

Performing live for the first time, Punjab and The Asp are joined by
members of Western.

This promises to be a special night.
