UF Malmö proudly presents Robert Bell, research and editorial officer, from UNICEF's Supply Division. Robert will discuss the supply and logistics work of UNICEF.
UNICEF is one of the biggest buyers of essential supplies for children in the world, procuring around USD 2 billion worth of vaccines, pharmaceuticals, nutrition supplies, mosquito nets, water & sanitation and education supplies per year. With over 320 staff and the world's largest humanitarian warehouse, UNICEF Supply Division directs and controls this procurement
Robert Bell is an Irish writer and editor. Previously a librarian specialising in the politics of Northern Ireland, Robert worked as an editor for various UN agencies in Bangkok, Thailand, before moving to project development for the International Organisation for Migration in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
He has worked in UNICEF Supply Division for 14 years. Initially, Robert was responsible for process re-engineering and documentation. In recent years, he has worked as part of the division's knowledge management and communication team.
